Shirley Boihen is carried off a ferry after being rescued from her home in St. Bernard Parish at the Algiers Ferry Terminal across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Shirley and her husband were neck deep in water in their home when they were rescued.
