Haiti: Healing Haiti

Florida Gulf Coast University nursing students and professors embark on a "health mission" to Haiti. A two-day hike through the countryside in addition to working at Mother Teresa's Home for the Dying, the Missionaries of Charity Brothers hospice and clinic and St. Damien Children's Hospital gave them a close look at the medical challenges the country faces.

Mackenson Frechette, suffering from Squamous Cell Carcinoma, is always on the hunt for chocolate at the hospital where he lives, St. Damien Hospital for Children in Petionville.
